Anna has also been a dressage rider for the past 12 years and enjoys competing in shows organized by the US Dressage association across New England, with her horse, Winnie.
She has practiced Pilates for over a decade with knowledgeable, educated teachers and continues to attend workshops and seminars designed to increase her understanding of body movement. She is a graduate of The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado. She is also certified by the Master Teacher Training Program at the Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado. Known as the “Harvard of Pilates teacher programs”, the Pilates Center emphasizes “teaching the art of teaching”, and is led by Amy Taylor Alpers and Rachel Taylor Segal. They were the first students of Romana Kryzanowska, who continued Joseph Pilates legacy work after his death
Anna’s comprehensive training and passion for Pilates as a way of life, helps her understand and work with a wide range of students. She works well with beginners, sports people and those with special considerations such as those with lower back problems or those wanting more confidence in their bodies. She is sought out by other teachers who want to learn new approaches and also achieve the highest level of Pilates work. Lindsey Flanagan

Pilates Instructor

Lindsey Flanagan is a United States Coast Guard Active Duty since 2001 and was stationed in Rhode Island in 2019 where she found Golden Mean Pilates Studio and mentor Anna Tipaeva. She began her training at world renowned Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado in 2020, learning the classical method from the best in the business. Her Pilates journey did not start in Rhode Island, however. She began her a modified version of the Pilates method in Louisiana in 2018 after she suffered a neck injury and physical therapy could not completely heal her. During what she considers a life changing experience, she decided that she wanted to help other people be whole and healthy through Pilates as well.

Olivia O’reilly

Pilates Instructor

Olivia discovered her love for Pilates while living in Boston ten years ago, using it as a supplemental exercise routine to complement her competitive running. It didn’t take long for her to experience the impact of the Pilates Method. With a newly gained sense of strength, control, and confidence in her body and mind, she became very intrigued by the benefits of Pilates and wanted to share her knowledge with others, excited to see how she could help people of all walks of life. She trained under Anna, and became a graduate of the Pilates Center. She has been working with Anna at Golden Mean Pilates Studio since 2018. Olivia is a true believer in the importance of pursuing an active lifestyle, and credits the foundations and core principles of classical Pilates in keeping her strong year after year. When she is not in the studio, she spends much of her time running, hiking the White Mountains, fly-fishing, sailing, paddle boarding. She enjoys learning how she can incorporate her Pilates mobility, strength, and balance into her other activities. Olivia is very dedicated to her clients and it is always her goal to cater to each client’s individual needs. Nothing makes her happier than sending them off on their day with smiles on their faces.
